What is Custom Embroidery?

This is a common question for customers new to the process. Custom Embroidery is the process of decorating an item made from woven fabric with machined needlework. This needlework is done on computerized machines that stitch thousands of stitches per minute.

First, we start with a design that you provide or design online with our online design tool. Then we digitize it for the embroidery machine. Then we setup the chosen fabric and let the machine run its cycle and viola! Your Custom Embroidered Apparel is now ready to tell the world about your business!

What kinds of products can be Custom Embroidered?

Embroidery has been around for hundreds of years and can be done on almost anything today. Here are some of the most common items that you will see Custom Embroidery on.

  • Beanies
  • Baseball hats
  • Flatbill hats
  • Sports Jerseys
  • Hoodies
  • Polo shirts
  • Dress Shirts

What is 3D Puff Embroidery?

Most of the Custom Embroidery done today is flat embroidery. It is just like it sounds, FLAT. The stitches and slightly raised on the surface of the material but appears to be flat.

3D Puff embroidery is a technique in the industry that makes the stitching look 3 dimensional on jackets, hats and other kinds of apparel.

These types of designs usually are lettering and require typically 3,000 stitches or more to create the puffy look. These are not your typical embroidery process. Once we have determined what you are looking for, we will give you a quote for the puffed up stitching.
